bradley cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, movie, happy

The definition of Happiness

Silver Linings Playbook is my favourite movie. The chemistry between Bradley Coops and Jennifer Lawrence, the dancing and just how nuts everyone in the movie is. It's a rom-com, but not your typical rom-com, a rom-com even rom-com haters like. It's a movie that goes to show rom-com's don't need to suck. Proof of this? In 2012, it became the first movie since 1981 to receive oscar nominations in all four acting categories. Only one went onto win- Jennifer Lawrence- for her performance as Tiffany Maxwell and holy bananas did she deserve it.
Imma link up my favourite scene from her

I watch it when I'm sad. I watch it when I'm happy to prove to myself I can be happier. I watch it when I'm angry, disappointed or simply bored. Name another movie that you can watch in all of those moods? Here's a fun scoop on the book this movie was based on; it's shit. Like so bad. I read it expecting it to be amazing but the director David O Russell took a terrible story written by Matthew Quick and turned it into a cinema delight. For that I thank him. To sell this movie to you, just watch the trailer and I'll hook you up with the DVD when you wanna watch it ;)

After watching it for the first time I had an imaginative essay to write for my higher english folio the next day and had no good ideas. I wrote a draft basically copying this movie and handed it to my teacher. Next day I came in my teacher said "Niall this is from the book Silver Linings Playbook". I said, "No bitch, this is from the movie Silver Linings Playbook, that book is trash," then snapped my fingers and walked away.
Ok the snapping of the fingers is made up and I did have to change my folio topic because younger Niall didn't understand the concept of plagiarism but that's besides the point.

This film is changing lives, and it changed mine.

Papa Bless

Niall
